Last week, I recorded an interview with the Unreliable Narrators podcast. It was terrific fun – they were lovely and interested interviewers, and they let me babble for a while. You can find the episode here, along with links to subscribe to the podcast (if you’re not already subscribed, I highly recommend it).
I’ve recorded a couple of other things that should be up over the next few weeks, and I’ll add links then. I’m really pleased and humbled by how enthusiastic and welcoming people have been. For this shy girl, it’s been a really nice experience.
And now, a PSA: If you’re eligible to nominate for the Hugo Awards, today at 11:59 PST is the deadline. To answer a couple of questions I had:
- No, you don’t need to nominate in all categories, and you don’t need to have five nominations for everything.
- Yes, you can nominate someone for the Campbell Award AND nominate their books/stories in the Novel/Novella/Novelette/Short/any other category.
I didn’t get a chance to read a ton of what came out in 2015, but I found a few things that really moved me, so they’re on the list.
Nominees will be announced during the last week of April. Best of luck to all of those eligible, and remember – if you don’t get officially nominated, it doesn’t mean I didn’t love you!
